Yogiyo Unveils AI-Powered Next-Generation Delivery Service 'Yogiyo Express'


[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Delivery Hero Korea (CEO Kang Shin-bong), which operates the delivery application (app) 'Yogiyo,' announced on the 30th that it will launch 'Yogiyo Express,' a delivery service that improves customer experience with an AI technology-based, faster dispatch system.


Yogiyo Express not only expands the system capable of integrated order and delivery management but also introduces Delivery Hero's global AI logistics solution 'Hurry' throughout the entire ordering process, significantly enhancing the ordering experience for both domestic restaurant partners and customers. In fact, in the Nowon and Dobong areas where Yogiyo Express testing has been conducted since last month, the average order processing time was recorded at 25 minutes.


Yogiyo Express first establishes a system to manage orders and deliveries on an integrated platform, improving operational efficiency for Yogiyo restaurant partners. Since many orders must be processed during peak order times, it provides a one-stop service that allows customers to use everything from order reception to delivery at once.


Instead of the existing method where rider dispatch competition is intense, it adopts a method that safely dispatches the most suitable orders based on the current route. This new technology helps riders perform faster and more efficient delivery services than before. It is also expected to provide a comfortable working environment for new riders who had difficulty adapting to tasks due to dispatch competition and route configuration, thereby expanding rider employment.


Yogiyo Express will be expanded and reorganized through the rebranding of 'Yogiyo Plus,' starting with the Gangnam and Seocho districts and expanding services to Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. ‘Foodfly,’ which has been providing gourmet delivery services with consumers since 2011, will be integrated into Yogiyo Express and continue to offer services. Kang Shin-bong, CEO of Delivery Hero Korea, said, "Yogiyo Express is part of our efforts to provide differentiated ordering experiences to Yogiyo consumers, and we expect to offer riders an advanced ordering experience in every aspect through technology."
