100 Boxes of 'Angel's Gift' for Out-of-School Female Adolescents On the 28th, the Jasaeng Angel Box handover ceremony was held at Busan City Hall.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Jaseng Medical Foundation delivered 100 "Angel Gift" boxes to Busan City for out-of-school youth. Each of the 100 boxes contains sanitary products, including sanitary pads worth 10 million won, carefully packed.

On the 28th, Busan City held a "Jaseng Angel Box Delivery Ceremony" with Jaseng Medical Foundation for out-of-school youth exhausted from COVID-19, and announced on the 29th that it had received 100 Jaseng Angel Boxes.

The ceremony was attended by Jeon Hye-sook, Director of the Busan City Women and Family Bureau; Kim Kwang-mo, member of the Busan City Council; Shin Min-sik, Chairman of the Social Contribution Committee of Jaseng Medical Foundation; and Kim Sang-don, Director of Haeundae Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital.

The support targets are youth using out-of-school youth support centers and youth attending unlicensed alternative education institutions. Busan City plans to provide the donated "Jaseng Angel Boxes" to 17 out-of-school youth support centers called "Kkumdeulim" and 4 unlicensed alternative education institutions within the city.

These gifts were prepared to help out-of-school youth who are in welfare blind spots and have difficulty purchasing sanitary products. One box contains about 370 sanitary pads, enough for one person to use for one year.

Jeon Hye-sook, Director of the Busan City Women and Family Bureau, said, "While the medical community is working hard on quarantine efforts during COVID-19, we are grateful for this great kindness. It will also be a great support to the youth."

Kim Sang-don, Director of Haeundae Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital, also said, "I hope the Jaseng Angel Boxes will be of some help to female youth who are going through even harder times due to the recent economic downturn caused by COVID-19."

He added, "Not only with the Angel Boxes, but Haeundae Jaseng Korean Medicine Hospital will also put more effort into social contribution activities to cooperate with the local community and contribute to improving residents' quality of life."
