[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] Germany has clearly expressed its opposition to expanding the summit to the Group of 11 (G11) or Group of 12 (G12), opposing South Korea, Australia, India, and Russia.

According to foreign media on the 26th (local time), Heiko Maas, Germany's Foreign Minister and a member of the Group of 7 (G7), stated in an interview with the regional daily Rheinische Post, "The G7 and the Group of 20 (G20) are two wisely composed formats," adding, "We do not need a G11 or G12."
