[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Min Jun-young] Trot singer Kim Hye-yeon revealed that the secret to maintaining her 20-year marriage is because of her children.

On the 22nd, Kim Hye-yeon appeared as a guest on KBS 2TV's variety show 'Park Won-sook's Let's Live Together.'

During the broadcast, Kim Hye-yeon said, "This year marks my 20th year of marriage. My eldest child is already 20 years old."

She continued, "I gave birth to a daughter, a daughter, a son, and a son," revealing that she is raising four children.

Hearing this, Park Won-sook said, "There are people who live well for 20 years," which brought laughter.

Kim Hye-yeon said, "Why would only good things happen to me? I've lived for 20 years, but it hasn't been only good times. There were many years I endured because of my four children," adding, "Whenever something happened, one child would come along, and whenever something else happened, another child would come."

Then Kim Young-ran said, "I respect you for raising four children while working in broadcasting," and added, "You can see that (Kim Hye-yeon) is raising four children and living vigorously and diligently."

Kim Hye-yeon continued, "When I gave birth to my third child, I went through a difficult time due to health deterioration," saying, "I even wrote a will and had two tumors in my head. Until then, I wasn't the type to take good care of my diet. When I suddenly lost my health and felt desperation, I became a health evangelist," which evoked sympathy.

She added, "It was 10 years ago when I had my third child. I'm okay now," and recalled, "I felt so unfair when I was given the surgery date."

In response, Hye-eun said, "When life is hard and difficulties pile up, you don't have the leisure to look around. When did that happen? How could I not have known? I felt so sorry."
