Delivery App Ddingdong Introduces 'Ddingbaedal'... Food and Daily Necessities Delivered Within 30 Minutes

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheolhyun] Honeybiz, operator of the delivery app 'Ddingdong' (CEO Yoon Moonjin), announced on the 22nd that it will introduce 'Dding Delivery,' which quickly delivers major mart products.

'Dding Delivery: 30-Minute Mart,' set up within Ddingdong, delivers carefully selected food and daily necessities to customers within 30 minutes when ordered in the Gangnam and Seocho areas. It is a planned menu that improves upon the existing 'Super Discount Mart,' which was delivered within one hour.

To commemorate the introduction of 'Dding Delivery,' Ddingdong is offering 'Sododukbul Odolbbyeo and Bul Sauce' at the lowest online price. 'Summer Masks' and 'Rainy Season Umbrellas' are also delivered through Dding Delivery. When ordering via Dding Delivery in the Gangnam and Seocho areas of Seoul, customers can receive these products within 30 minutes.

Ddingdong also operates 'Ddingdong X Nowpick,' which sells and delivers various processed foods, baby products, and other daily necessities individually at low prices, and 'Ddingdong X Fresh Mart,' which sells various fresh foods such as fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, and dried fish. Song Hyochan, Chief Operating Officer (COO), said, "We secured carefully selected daily necessities at low prices through bulk purchasing and lowered costs by operating our own logistics warehouse." Honeybiz plans to gradually increase the range of products handled by analyzing user purchase data.

Meanwhile, Ddingdong is conducting the 'Delivery App 2.0 Innovation Project,' which avoids excessive marketing among delivery apps and promotes coexistence with small business owners through public-private cooperation. It has introduced the lowest domestic transaction fee of 2% and does not charge advertising or entry fees within the app.
