Didim365, a specialist company in multi-cloud services, announced that it will supply cloud services certified for cloud security to Hunezion, an information security software specialist company carrying out the ‘2020 Cloud Security Service Advancement Support Project.’
The 2020 Cloud Security Service Advancement Support Project is an initiative by the Ministry of Science and ICT aimed at promoting cloud security services (SECaaS, Security as a Service). SECaaS provides software such as firewalls, anti-DDoS, and malware detection through the cloud, attracting significant interest from small and medium-sized ventures and startups lacking sufficient security personnel.
Last year, Hunezion was selected for the Ministry of Science and ICT’s ICT Fund-supported cloud security service (SECaaS) development project and commercialized the first cloud-based inter-network data transmission service in the network linkage industry. Didim365 supplies the cloud and management services for this.
In September last year, the two companies formed a strategic partnership to provide optimal services in public and private sectors by advancing security for cloud-based network linkage solutions and access control projects, focusing on smart city and smart factory industries.
In particular, Didim365 provides cloud services certified for cloud security and management services to Hunezion, which is in charge of the 2020 Cloud Security Service Advancement Support Project. This is expected to strengthen the technological competitiveness of domestic cloud security providers capable of responding to security threats faced in the Korean cloud environment.
Jang Minho, CEO of Didim365, said, “Companies and institutions considering cloud adoption need security services optimized for the cloud. SECaaS offers software such as firewalls, anti-DDoS, and malware detection through the cloud, which is cost-effective and eliminates the need to worry about maintenance and equipment management.” He added, “Didim365 plans to provide stable cloud services through active security cooperation with Hunezion amid the increasing cyber security threats including cloud security.”
Meanwhile, Didim365 is providing consulting, construction, migration, and operation management for public cloud services, as well as managed services for better cloud service operation for clients, through the Digital Service Market ‘Seed’ operated by the National Information Society Agency. As of June, Didim365 ranked 4th in both the number of usage contracts and contract amounts among 198 registered partner companies on Seed.
Hunezion obtained cloud service quality certification last year and commercialized the cloud-based network linkage solution ‘i-oneNet for Cloud,’ which is registered on the cloud digital service market ‘Seed.’ i-oneNet is a solution equipped with all six core attributes of cloud services and provides various security services during multi-network file transfers, including whitelist-based file transfer, malware scanning via multi-antivirus, proprietary protocol linkage developed in-house, secure one-way channel linkage, file transfer through approval processes, personal information detection, and file transfer history management.
