[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Bodyfriend announced on the 16th that it will create a relaxation space called ‘Bodyfriend Lounge’ using massage chairs at Starfield Hanam and introduce the first unmanned massage chair service within a complex shopping facility.

Bodyfriend Lounge is a massage lounge equipped with a simple unmanned payment system in line with the recently emerging contactless trend. It is a service that allows customers to enjoy relaxation while experiencing Bodyfriend’s product technology, AS infrastructure, and spatial composition capabilities. It features lounge-exclusive products, personalized spaces, and comfortable and luxurious interiors, differentiating it from other existing paid massage services.

The newly established Bodyfriend Lounge at Starfield Hanam is located inside Starfield Men’s next to Electromart on the first floor. Three units of the unmanned massage chair service-exclusive product ‘Azera Pop’ have been installed, and customers who need a break while shopping can easily pay by card and use the service. This is the first time Bodyfriend Lounge has entered a complex shopping facility, with Starfield Hanam being the first.

A Bodyfriend official said, “Even in the contactless era where massages by people have become burdensome, we plan to continuously expand unmanned massage lounges within complex shopping facilities so that anyone can comfortably receive massages and recharge anytime, anywhere.”
