[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) will conduct an online education session titled "How to Properly Use Government Subsidies" on the 17th for (preliminary) entrepreneurs preparing for government-supported projects.
The session will be held from 2 PM for approximately 120 minutes. Park Daehee, director of Venture Box, an accelerator registered with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, will lecture on ▲how to allocate government subsidy project funds ▲accounting and tax processing ▲tax-saving strategies ▲various precautions.
Afterwards, a Q&A session will be provided, where multiple questions will be received via comments and solutions proposed.
A Gwanak-gu official stated, "Originally, face-to-face education was planned for 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis at Nakseong Venture Startup Center, but due to COVID-19 prevention measures and high demand for education, it has been replaced with a non-face-to-face online education using the YouTube platform."
(Preliminary) entrepreneurs wishing to attend the education can apply through the application link. Those who apply in advance will receive a link to watch the education via email and text message two hours before the session.
Detailed information can be found on the Nakseong Venture Startup Center blog.
Gwanak-gu is promoting the "Nakseong Venture Valley" project to attract venture companies and build a venture ecosystem around the Nakseongdae area near the back gate of Seoul National University.
The Nakseong Venture Startup Center is an anchor facility of the 'Nakseong Venture Valley' operated to discover preliminary entrepreneurs in the region and support and nurture excellent companies.
Currently, a total of 25 companies, including 10 smart office companies, are housed, and through support for various startup-related programs such as education, consulting, and mentoring, it is emerging as a representative facility for resident companies and preliminary entrepreneurs.
Mayor Park Junhee said, "I hope this education will be of practical help to preliminary entrepreneurs preparing for government-supported projects, and we will continue to discover and implement various startup support programs to promote the settlement and rapid growth of many (preliminary) entrepreneurs in the region."
