Jinan County Council Awards Plaque of Appreciation to Shin Gap-su, Former First Half Chairman

Councilor Shin Gap-su, who served as the chairman of the 8th Jinan County Council during the first half of the term, was dedicated to regional development, improving the welfare of county residents, and opening the era of local autonomy based on residents' sovereignty, and received a plaque of appreciation from the Jinan County Council.

Councilor Shin Gap-su expressed gratitude, saying, "Thanks to the encouragement and support of the residents and fellow council members, I was able to complete my term as chairman safely," and added, "I will do my best in legislative activities in the second half of the term so that the residents can lead happy lives."

Meanwhile, the County Council (Chairman Kim Kwang-su) will hold the 263rd extraordinary meeting for 10 days from the 14th to the 23rd.

At this extraordinary meeting, agenda items such as the review of the first half progress and second half plans for major county administration tasks in 2020, the formation of the Budget and Settlement Special Committee, and ordinances including the "Jinan County Ordinance for the Promotion and Support of Women Farmers and Fishermen" are expected to be addressed.
