[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] An additional confirmed case of COVID-19 has been reported on a foreign-flagged vessel that entered Busan Port for hull repairs.

According to Busan Port quarantine authorities on the 14th, a crew member of a Tuvalu-flagged deep-sea fishing vessel (499 tons) who entered Busan Port on the 8th for hull repairs tested positive for COVID-19.

It is known that there are 44 crew members on board the vessel, including the confirmed case, raising the likelihood of additional confirmed cases.
