Gwangju Buk-gu Supports Small Business Workplaces with Quarantine Supplies


[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 14th that it will provide disinfectant spray, a quarantine item, to small business establishments that have seen a sharp decline in customers due to the resurgence of COVID-19.


Buk-gu plans to deliver about 8,500 disinfectant sprays to a total of 30 organizations and associations, including shopping district promotion associations, market merchant associations, and industry-specific associations, by the 17th to support the quarantine activities of small business owners.


Buk-gu will continue to monitor the spread of COVID-19 and assess the demand for quarantine supplies to provide additional support, and is committed to thorough quarantine activities such as implementing social distancing level 2 measures and conducting guidance and inspections of high-risk facilities.


Moon In, Mayor of Buk-gu, said, “We will continue to do our best to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through thorough quarantine activities and carry on various support activities to help small business owners normalize their management.”
