Non-face-to-face IR Pitching and Follow-up 1-on-1 Networking Program
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (President Kim Kwang-hyun, hereinafter referred to as Kised) announced that it will hold the "2nd Re-challenge Startup IR and Networking" event on the 22nd, which connects re-entrepreneurs, investors, and large corporations for collaboration and opens a platform for cooperation among members of the startup ecosystem.
This event targets re-challenge startups within seven years of establishment and aims to facilitate exchange and cooperation with various investment attraction groups such as investors, distributors, crowdfunding companies, re-startup support fund operators, large corporations, and mid-sized companies. The first event was held in May.
For the 2nd event, 108 teams applied through K-Startup from May 20 to June 5, and after an internal evaluation by the investment attraction group, 15 teams were selected to have the opportunity to pitch at the investment presentation (IR). The event will proceed with 1-on-1 networking in online meeting rooms where investors and re-entrepreneurs can continuously pursue investment and connections after the IR pitching.
The entire event will be operated through an online meeting platform developed for the IR pitching event, and the general public can also apply to receive a weblink to observe the event live online. On the day of the event, up to five outstanding pitching teams will be awarded prizes of up to 700,000 KRW. A Ministry of SMEs and Startups official said, "Re-challenge startups that participated in the first event have achieved good results such as follow-up investment attraction and securing sales channels after the event," adding, "We hope this event becomes a practical link to investors for re-challenge startups to leap forward."
