Card Sales Amount 0.8% Up to 300,000 KRW for Small Business Owners with Previous Year Sales Under 100 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulju-gun, Ulsan is implementing the ‘Ulju-gun Small Business Card Fee Support Project’ to alleviate the financial burden on local small business owners due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The support targets small business owners with business locations in Ulju-gun whose sales in the previous year were 100 million KRW or less. The support amount is 0.8% of the previous year’s card sales, up to a maximum of 300,000 KRW.
Applications can be submitted from the 15th to August 31st at the administrative welfare centers in the towns and townships where the business is located. Final recipients are expected to receive the payment in their accounts in early October.
Documents verifying last year’s sales and card sales required for recipient selection will be collectively confirmed by the tax office through prior consultation with the relevant tax office before the project implementation, reducing the inconvenience of application.
County Governor Lee Seon-ho said, “I hope this support will provide some strength to local small business owners,” and added, “We plan to prepare support measures that can practically help to stabilize management and assist business activities in the future.”
