Chosun University Hosts 'Summer Vacation Special Lecture for Employment Preparation of Students with Disabilities'

Jointly Conducted by University Job Center and Disabled Student Support Center

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Chosun University’s University Job Center and Disability Student Support Center will jointly hold a “Summer Vacation Special Lecture for Employment Preparation of Disabled Students” starting from the 20th, targeting disabled students.

According to Chosun University on the 13th, the “Summer Vacation Special Lecture for Employment Preparation of Disabled Students” is designed to provide disabled students with career and job exploration and job information at the university, and to guide them to design a clear career direction. The lecture will be conducted via real-time remote video conferencing due to the COVID-19 situation.

The lecture will deliver to students, by field of advancement, ▲ introduction of employment preparation strategies by career goal type ▲ exploration of strengths and development capabilities ▲ methods of managing university life career for employment preparation.

Cho Gyuseon, head of the Disability Student Support Center at Chosun University, said, “As corporate employment of disabled people is expanding, we have prepared this as a practical opportunity to enhance the employment capabilities of disabled university students through understanding corporate trends and introducing employment cases after graduation of disabled university students.”

Yoon Onam, head of the University Job Center at Chosun University, stated, “The goal is to bring disabled university students one step closer to employment success by preparing them as qualified talents through education tailored to the characteristics of disabled students with employment as the goal from the early years.”
