Additionally, Han Seong-sook, CEO of Naver, is expected to present as the 'Digital New Deal' presenter, one of the two main pillars alongside the Green New Deal.
According to the Blue House and business circles on the 13th, Executive Vice Chairman Chung will attend the Korean New Deal National Report Conference held at 2 p.m. on the 14th via video conference to report on the Green New Deal strategy, including next-generation green hydrogen and electric vehicles. This report conference is the 7th Emergency Economic Meeting and aims to inform the public of the detailed comprehensive plan of the Korean New Deal, a 'large-scale national project' first announced by President Moon at the 5th Emergency Economic Meeting in April.
In relation to this, a new pan-governmental 'Korean New Deal Strategy Meeting' will be launched to secure strong momentum for the comprehensive plan to be unveiled that day. President Moon will directly preside over the meeting once or twice a month to accelerate decision-making and implementation. Blue House spokesperson Kang Min-seok said, "The strategy meeting is planned to be launched within this month after the Korean New Deal National Report Conference on the 14th," adding, "At the report conference, President Moon will deliver a keynote speech clarifying the values, significance, and direction that the Korean New Deal aims for, while declaring a strong commitment to its implementation."
