[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Global Linkers, which provides the genuine authentication service ‘Klover,’ announced on the 13th that it has signed an exclusive distributor agreement with Lionice, a Japan-based enterprise solution reselling and consulting specialist, for entry into the Japanese market.
Lionice is a subsidiary of Satellite Office, a premium reseller of Google G Suite, established to sell services from outstanding domestic and international IT companies in the Japanese market. Lionice will be responsible for the sales, distribution, and consulting of ‘Klover’ within Japan.
‘Klover,’ developed independently by Global Linkers, offers a genuine authentication tag with strong security based on a hidden algorithm and a mobile platform-based authentication service. Pursuing not only strong security but also the ‘aesthetic’ and ‘versatility’ aspects of the tag, it can be freely modified and linked with marketing platforms. It is applied across various domestic and international industries, including Samsung Engineering, Korea Exchange, and Leaders Cosmetic.
Heo Euisook, Vice President of Global Linkers, expressed confidence and expectations for overseas expansion, stating, “Through this exclusive distributor agreement in Japan, we can introduce Klover’s excellent service to J-Beauty companies, which are among the major suppliers in the global cosmetics market.”
Heo Seongwook, CEO of Lionice, said, “In a situation where the counterfeit market is growing, we are very excited about the opportunity to provide the Klover service, which has excellent security, to Japanese companies alongside K-Beauty companies,” and added, “Through partners working with Lionice, we will ensure that the Klover service quickly establishes itself in the Japanese market.”
Global Linkers, which entered the Vietnamese market last May, has created an opportunity to expand into major manufacturing countries suffering from damage due to counterfeit products through this exclusive distributor agreement in Japan.
