KT-HiteJinro Launch 'Giga Genie X Jinro Summer Special Package'


[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] KT announced on the 13th that it is partnering with Hite Jinro to launch a limited edition ‘Giga Genie X Jinro Summer Special Package.’


Hite Jinro’s toad character, featuring the 1970s blue Jinro label design, evokes nostalgia for the middle-aged generation and symbolizes newtro culture for the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z). KT’s Giga Genie, the country’s most popular AI speaker with 2.4 million subscribers, is expected to offer fresh enjoyment to users looking to spend a cool summer through the ‘Summer Special Package’ created in collaboration with Jinro.


To celebrate the launch of the Summer Special Package, KT is partnering with Glad Hotel to operate the ‘Giga Genie X Jinro Collaboration Room’ from the 20th of this month until the end of September. Guests can stay in rooms equipped with various Giga Genie X Jinro collaboration products at Glad Live Gangnam and Glad Yeouido. Guests will receive the Giga Genie X Jinro Summer Special Package, and a promotion will also be held where, by saying “Genie, bring me the toad” to the Giga Genie hotel device, they will be given one bottle of Jinro soju designed with the Jinro Is Back label. Kim Chae-hee, KT’s Head of AI/Big Data Division (Executive Director), said, “To help our customers enjoy a cool summer, Giga Genie and Jinro have come together to present the Giga Genie X Jinro Summer Special Package,” adding, “KT will continue various collaboration activities to enhance customers’ enjoyable AI life.”
