MINI, Convertible Sidewalk Edition Limited to 50 Units

[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Premium compact car brand MINI announced on the 13th that it will launch the 'MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition' in the domestic market, limited to a total of 50 units.

The newly introduced MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition is a modern reinterpretation of the Sidewalk Edition first released in 2007. For the first time in MINI history, the 'Deep Laguna Metallic' exterior color was applied, adding a unique charm.

The exterior color harmonizes with the soft top and stripes, which are inspired by European pavement blocks, expressing individuality. Additionally, the Sidewalk design side scuttle was applied to differentiate it from previous models, and 17-inch Caesar Spoke wheels were equipped.

The interior also showcases the special features unique to the MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition. It completes a distinctive style through the Sidewalk Edition exclusive MINI Yours natural leather seats, dashboard panel, steering wheel logo, and door sill plates.

The MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition, which allows you to enjoy open-air driving with an electronically operated soft top, also pays attention to convenience features that enhance driving pleasure. It is equipped with an intuitive combiner-type head-up display to improve driving convenience, and the Cooper S model features premium Harman Kardon speakers to enjoy sound with the best quality.

The MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition offers two gasoline engine options equipped with MINI TwinPower Turbo technology. The Cooper model, equipped with a 3-cylinder gasoline engine, delivers a maximum output of 136 horsepower, while the Cooper S model, equipped with a 4-cylinder gasoline engine, produces a maximum output of 192 horsepower. Additionally, the Cooper model features a Steptronic 7-speed double-clutch automatic transmission, and the Cooper S model is equipped with a Steptronic 7-speed sport double-clutch automatic transmission, providing a sporty driving experience.

Limited to a total of 50 units, the MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition is available for purchase through official MINI dealerships nationwide. The price of the MINI Convertible Sidewalk Edition is 45.9 million KRW for the Cooper model and 50.4 million KRW for the Cooper S model (after individual consumption tax reduction).
