Shinhan Card Launches L.Pay Credit and Debit Cards: "Earn Up to 7% L.Points"

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young]Shinhan Card announced on the 13th that it has launched the 'L Pay Shinhan Card' in collaboration with Lotte Members.

The newly launched L Pay Shinhan Card automatically enrolls users as L.Point members upon issuance and is automatically registered with L Pay. Additionally, L.Point can be accumulated without the need to enter a phone number or present a barcode separately.

Both the credit and check versions of the L Pay Shinhan Card accumulate 0.1% L.Point at all affiliated stores without any previous month usage conditions, and there is no monthly accumulation limit. The L Pay credit card offers up to 7% L.Point accumulation online and up to 3% offline when paying with L Pay in the Lotte Dream area, which consists of major Lotte affiliates. Even if a general payment is made without using L Pay in the Dream area, 1% of the payment amount is accumulated. Additionally, 1% L.Point is accumulated when using postpaid transportation and taxis.

The L Pay check card accumulates up to 3% L.Point online and up to 1% offline when paying with L Pay in the Dream area. For general payments without using L Pay and for postpaid transportation and taxis, 0.5% L.Point is accumulated.

The Lotte Dream area includes affiliated stores covering all aspects of daily life such as Lotte ON, Lotte Department Store, Lotte Mart, Lotte Super, Lotte Home Shopping, Lotte Cinema, Lotte Hotel, Lotte Duty Free, LOBs, and 7-Eleven.

The annual fee for the L Pay credit card is 20,000 KRW for international use (Visa) and 17,000 KRW for domestic use only, while the L Pay check card has no annual fee.

L.Point can be used like cash not only for shopping at over 500,000 affiliated stores including all Lotte affiliates but also for various content services. Shinhan Card plans to offer more benefits to customers through future events related to the L Pay Shinhan Card.
