[Asia Economy Kim Hyun-jun, Golf Specialist Reporter] ○..."Hole-in-one, another hole-in-one."
Lee Dong-min (35, photo) made history in the Korean Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Korean Tour by achieving hole-in-ones in two consecutive tournaments for the first time. Following his hole-in-one on the 12th hole (par 3, 176 yards) on the first day of the Woosung Construction Aramir CC Busan Gyeongnam Open held on the 2nd at Aramir Golf Course in Changwon City, Gyeongnam (par 72, 7,245 yards), he continued with another hole-in-one on the 17th hole (par 3, 175 yards) on the final day of the KPGA Gunsan CC Open (total prize money 500 million KRW) held on the 12th at Gunsan Golf Course Lead-Lake Course in Gunsan City, Jeonbuk (par 71, 7,130 yards).
This is his third hole-in-one overall, including one at the 7th hole (par 3) during the second round of the Boseong Classic held at Boseong Golf Course in Jeonnam in 2013. At the Busan Gyeongnam Open, Lee Dong-min received a luxury mattress worth about 10 million KRW as a prize, and this time he took home a set of four high-end LG Electronics Signature home appliances worth 30 million KRW. Adding one birdie and one bogey, he finished tied for 12th place (9 under par, 275 strokes). He smiled brightly, saying he felt "dazed" and that he would "try for another hole-in-one next week."
