[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Sung Si-kyung served Chinese dishes he personally prepared to the cast of 'On and Off'.
On the 11th, the tvN show 'On and Off' aired a segment showing Sung Si-kyung hosting a housewarming party with the cast members.
On the day of the housewarming, Sung Si-kyung meticulously prepared the ingredients ahead of the guests' arrival, changed into an outfit matching the Chinese cuisine menu, and completed the preparations to welcome the guests.
When the 'On and Off' cast members Jo Se-ho, Kim Min-a, Chris Ryan, and Ahn Ji-young arrived, 'Sikyung Restaurant' officially opened for business. Sung Si-kyung showcased his signature Chinese-style chicken breast dish called Bbangbbangji, Guobaorou, Nurungjitang, and Chinese-style steamed sea bream.
When guest Ahn Ji-young expressed concern about Sung Si-kyung's meal, he replied, "The best thing is seeing you all enjoy the food."
That day, Sung Si-kyung served the main dish, steamed sea bream, undercooked to the guests. Feeling embarrassed by the unexpected mistake in front of the group, he lamented, "I feel like I've lost my country."
After some ups and downs, when the members showered praise on the completed steamed sea bream, Sung Si-kyung happily said, "Compliments on my cooking are just as gratifying as praise for my singing."
After the meal, Sung Si-kyung played the piano himself and sang with Jo Se-ho. The housewarming ended with sincere conversations between Sung Si-kyung and the members.
