"Opposition to 'Park Won-soon Seoul Mayor (Funeral)' Surpasses 200,000 on Blue House National Petition"

[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] A Blue House petition opposing the funeral of Seoul Mayor Park Won-soon being held in the form of a "Seoul Special Mayor's Funeral (葬)" (a funeral organized by the funeral committee formed by Seoul City) has gained more than 200,000 signatures, the threshold for a response, in less than a day.

According to the Blue House website on the 10th, the petition titled "Opposing a 5-day funeral and Seoul Special Mayor's Funeral (葬) for Mr. Park Won-soon," posted on the Blue House petition board, had received about 207,000 signatures as of 7:45 PM that day.

As a result, the Blue House is expected to issue an official response within one month starting from the petition's closing date on the 9th of next month.
