Comprehensive hygiene and environmental company CESCO (CEO Jeon Chan-hyeok) has created a 'CESCO Zone' through the Yeonseo Market cultural tourism market development project in Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, by providing regular hygiene services to all stores within Yeonseo Market.

The cultural tourism market development project is a 'Specialized Market Development Project' supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, which invests up to 1 billion KRW over two years from national, city, and district funds to focus on fostering the unique strengths of markets linked to local characteristics and cultural tourism resources.

Last year, Eunpyeong-gu promoted the Specialized First Step Market project and carried out five core tasks including ▲payment convenience and ▲hygiene cleanliness, and was finally selected as a continuously supported 'Cultural Tourism Market' this year. As part of the hygiene cleanliness task, a business agreement was signed with CESCO (CEO Jeon Chan-hyeok) in August last year to improve the hygiene environment within the market.

The target of the work includes all stores registered with the Yeonseo Market Merchants Association and the market's common areas. CESCO (CEO Jeon Chan-hyeok) provides monthly pest control services to these stores and installs and maintains non-flying pest control equipment.

CESCO stated, "Due to the environmental characteristics of traditional markets, there are concerns about hygiene, but since a comprehensive hygiene and environmental company like CESCO manages the area, visitors can feel more assured." They encouraged meaningful consumption that contributes to the coexistence of the local commercial district.
