Purpose of Creating Jobs for Women and Workforce Development
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] The International Korean Cuisine Cooking School and Jeonju Women's Human Resources Development Center announced on the 10th that they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) the previous day at the small auditorium Gyeonggijeon to promote gender equality and a women-friendly employment environment, as well as to create jobs for women and foster human resources in the Jeonbuk region.
Through this MOU, the two organizations plan to promote support for employment retention aimed at creating jobs for women and improving workplace culture, including projects to foster a gender-equal and women-friendly organizational culture.
The director of Jeonju Women's Human Resources Development Center said, "We are pleased to be able to discover women's jobs in the 4th industrial era and jointly create a gender-equal and family-friendly employment environment within the changing local industries of the new normal era through this MOU with the International Korean Cuisine Cooking School."
The head of the Korean Cuisine Cooking School stated, "Through exchanges with Jeonju Women's Human Resources Development Center, this will be a great opportunity to maintain an active mutual cooperation system to improve the quality of employment and job services and maximize employment for the training of women tailored to the region."
Meanwhile, the International Korean Cuisine Cooking School is an accredited educational institution established by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Jeollabuk-do, Jeonju City, and Jeonju University. Currently, the school is recruiting new students for the second semester regular courses this year, including free one-day classes and individual courses (baking and water kimchi courses).
