[Asia Economy Reporter Park Cheol-eung] Lee Jae-myung, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, stated on Facebook on the 10th, "'Governor Lee is my younger brother.' I never dreamed that this statement you made to the press at a recent briefing would be your last words to me."

He continued, "We even promised to meet separately... I still can't believe that I can no longer see you. No, I don't want to believe it."

He also said, "As a human rights lawyer, social activist, and local government head... you always walked one step ahead of me. Following the light you shone, I was able to come this far."

"Therefore, it is hard to accept this sudden farewell. I resent my older brother who suddenly left to a place where I can never see him again. There is so much work to do, yet you left behind only a pile of unfinished tasks, and I deeply resent you for that. I have written and erased this several times. So many words come to mind that I cannot say anything. Park Won-soon, my older brother, please rest in peace."
