The proclamation ceremony held on the 9th at the Student Life Mission Hall was attended by about 30 related personnel, including President Hong Soon-jik, Director Jeong Seok-hoon of the University Innovation Headquarters, and Director Moon Yong-gyu of the Innovation Performance Management Center.

According to the university, “Jeonju Vision University, which has thoroughly prepared for the university basic competency diagnosis evaluation (3rd cycle, formerly university structure reform evaluation) in response to the new normal of higher education after COVID-19 and has flexibly responded to changes in the educational environment paradigm, held the mid- to long-term development plan (EXODUS2026) proclamation ceremony to enhance the direction and competitiveness of the mid- to long-term development plan.”
The university predicts that due to the unprecedented COVID-19 situation, non-face-to-face online classes are inevitable, and online classes will continue and be strengthened in the future.
Accordingly, Jeonju Vision University decided to include strategies in the mid- to long-term development plan such as securing filming studios to build an online lecture system and improving the qualitative level of online lectures.
President Hong Soon-jik said, “In preparation for the rapidly changing Fourth Industrial Revolution era, we invested 2.1 billion KRW to complete the construction of Jeonju Vision University’s big data system,” and added, “Let us keep pace with the demands of the times by developing differentiated academic information, customer-centered academic management, renewed educational administrative support, and training disaster prevention drone experts.”
He continued, “As the number of unemployed people rapidly increases, let us fulfill the role as a vocational education hub university through the leading post-secondary education project (Innovation Type 3) that expands the education target to general unemployed people for reemployment, differentiate ourselves as a University Beyond University, and lead higher education.”
Meanwhile, Jeonju Vision University recently received the highest ‘A grade’ as the only vocational college in Jeollabuk-do in the Innovation Support Project (Type 1) evaluation hosted by the Ministry of Education.
