During the investigation of case number 134, who was classified as a contact of a confirmed case related to Gwangju Sarang Church the previous day, the quarantine authorities confirmed her visit to SM Sauna.
Subsequently, it was confirmed that case 134 worked as an instructor at the Gwangju Exam Academy, and she was classified as a confirmed case related to both SM Sauna and the Gwangju Exam Academy. The link of local infections originating from door-to-door sales was connected through Gwangju Sarang Church, SM Sauna, and the Gwangju Exam Academy.
Initially, regarding the Gwangju Exam Academy, the first confirmed case (number 117) appeared on the 6th, but since no connection to local infections was revealed, there were concerns about 'unknown patients.' As of the morning of this day, there are 9 confirmed cases related to the Gwangju Exam Academy and 6 related to SM Sauna.
