Shake Shack Opens 'Daegu Dongseong-ro Branch'

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] SPC Group will open the 13th Shake Shack store on June 10th in Daegu Dongseong-ro.

The 13th Shake Shack is located on the first floor of the theme shopping mall ‘Dongseong-ro Spark,’ where visitors can enjoy various play experiences including a Ferris wheel, occupying 408.96㎡ with 164 seats.

‘Shake Shack Daegu Dongseong-ro’ was inspired by the ‘Centre Pompidou,’ one of the three major art museums in Paris, and designed with an ‘Inside-out’ concept. Collaborating with graffiti artist ‘XEVA,’ it emphasizes a lively atmosphere with colorful graffiti artwork titled ‘New York to Daegu,’ connecting New York to Daegu.

In addition to existing menu items such as ShackBurger, Shack Stack, and SmokeShack, the Daegu Dongseong-ro store offers a signature dessert called ‘Dalgona Daegu,’ which sweetly combines Daegu’s famous chewy honey rice cake and crunchy dalgona with vanilla custard. Also, local Daegu craft beer brand ‘Daedo Brewery’s’ ‘DAEDO Helles’ and ‘DAEDO IPA’ are available exclusively at the Dongseong-ro store.

On the Happy Point application, customers can download the ‘Shack Flip-Flop Discount Coupon,’ valid only at the Daegu Dongseong-ro store, until the 24th, with the offer available through the 31st. First-time visitors to the Daegu Dongseong-ro store will receive a ‘Shake Shack Special Kit’ consisting of Shack Block, Shack Hat, Shack Magnet, Picnic Cooler Bag, Shack Umbrella, and Shack Flip-Flops. Additionally, for seven days starting from the opening day, the first 200 customers each day visiting the Daegu Dongseong-ro store will be given a ‘Shake Shack Summer Kit’ including a fan and sunglasses.
