SettleBank Enters Medical Sector Simple Payment Market... "Partnering with Lemon Healthcare"

[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] SettleBank announced on the 9th that it has signed a partnership agreement to integrate its simple payment solution with Lemon Healthcare's smart healthcare platform, 'LemonCare.'

SettleBank plans to provide a simple payment collection service targeting about 60 medium to large general hospitals in Korea that have built hospital apps using Lemon Healthcare's LemonCare platform.

Through this partnership, SettleBank will establish a system that allows patients to register their own accounts on the hospital app and pay medical fees quickly and conveniently via mobile after treatment without visiting the payment counter, supporting real-time contactless cash payments. LemonCare has also added simple payment methods as payment options in addition to credit cards, significantly enhancing customer convenience.

SettleBank plans to accelerate partnerships in related fields to have its simple payment solution installed as a basic payment method across the rapidly growing smart healthcare sector. In particular, it is expected to play a key role in contactless payment methods once regulations on telemedicine are relaxed in the future.
