Gyeongbuk Reports No New COVID-19 Cases for Three Consecutive Days... From the 3rd, there were daily confirmed cases of one person each for four days, including imported cases from Turkey and Kazakhstan and a couple in their 60s from Gyeongju City, but no COVID-19 cases were confirmed from the 6th to the 8th.


According to Gyeongbuk Province on the 9th, as of midnight, the cumulative number of confirmed cases in the Gyeongbuk area remains at 1,351, the same as the previous day. The number of recovered patients increased to 1,286 as two patients who had been hospitalized at Dongguk University Gyeongju Hospital were discharged the day before, and the death toll remains at 58.


Seven confirmed patients in the region are receiving treatment at Andong Medical Center (5 patients) and other city/provincial hospitals (2 patients). All COVID-19 patients were discharged from Dongguk University Gyeongju Hospital the previous day.


The sources of infection by confirmed cases are as follows: Shincheonji 473, Cheongdo Daenam Hospital 116, Pureun Nursing Home 68, Seo Nursing Hospital 65, Yecheon local infection 41, Holy Land pilgrimage 29, Milal 25, overseas inflow 35, etc. The infection routes of 499 cases have not been identified.
