COVID-19 Regional Community 'Containment Quarantine' Focused at Highway Rest Areas

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] The Chuncheon Rest Area on the Busan-bound Central Expressway managed by Korea Expressway Corporation announced on the 8th that it is implementing various customer safety measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the local community.


Based on employee temperature checks and mask-wearing during work, the Chuncheon Rest Area has disinfectants available in all stores. In addition, partition screens have been installed on restaurant tables, and transparent roll screens have been set up in convenience stores and other auxiliary facilities to actively practice social distancing.


A rest area official emphasized, "Considering the nature of multi-use facilities visited by many people, we are making our best efforts to ensure customers can use the rest area safely through proactive infection prevention."
