The donation ceremony was held with the attendance of Kim Soon-ho, Governor of Gurye-gun, Kim Jun-ho, CEO of Palmsone Co., Ltd., representatives from Daewoong Pharmaceutical, and Kim In, Branch Manager of Haeseung Cultural Heritage Co., Ltd.
Kim Jun-ho, CEO of Palmsone Co., Ltd., said, “We express our gratitude to the governor who is doing his best to protect the clean area of Gurye and to the medical staff working hard on the front lines of quarantine,” adding, “We will strive to actively support until the day when the residents can smile and feel happiness comfortably in their daily lives.”
Governor Kim Soon-ho said, “We deeply thank the CEOs of Palmsone Co., Ltd. and Daewoong Pharmaceutical for participating to help low-income families struggling due to COVID-19,” and added, “The donated funds and goods will be delivered to neighbors in need and medical staff within the jurisdiction.”
Meanwhile, the funds donated by Palmsone Co., Ltd. and Daewoong Pharmaceutical are scheduled to be delivered through a designated donation project of the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea.
