At the meeting, discussions were held on the "Problems and Solutions of Startup Policies" to revitalize the Changwon-type startup ecosystem.
With First Vice Mayor Jo Young-jin and heads of departments and offices in attendance, Jeon Jeong-hyun, chairman of the Gyeongnam Venture Startup Association, took the podium as a presenter and realistically conveyed stories from the startup field as an entrepreneur, gaining empathy from the attendees.
The participants proposed opinions on introducing cloud funds for startup financing, promoting technology startups, establishing institutional verification measures to improve the efficiency of startup support, and the necessity of building a startup platform to perform the role of a startup support control tower.
First Vice Mayor Jo stated, "We will prepare concrete measures for continuous follow-up management and support of startups with growth potential through improvements to the existing supply-oriented startup support method and effective alternatives."
