Lotte Hi-Mart Opens Video Commerce Exclusive Channel 'HeartON TV'

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Lotte Hi-Mart announced on the 7th that it has newly opened a video-only channel called ‘HeartON TV’ on its app, featuring a variety of content.

This HeartON TV is an abbreviation for Lotte Hi-Mart Online TV and is an online video content platform that provides not only home appliances but also various information. The content ranges from informational videos such as product reviews and usage tips to live broadcasts for product sales. Users can easily search for desired videos through the search function, which also recommends customized search keywords. The schedule can be checked in advance through the programming guide, and a notification setting service is provided when favorite content is uploaded.

This month, experts from popular air conditioner brands Samsung Electronics, Carrier, Winia Dimchae, and LG Electronics will appear weekly. They provide various air conditioner-related information, from principles and types to cleaning and maintenance know-how. There is also a popular brand theme section where users can watch product introduction and demonstration videos categorized by brand according to their preferences. Additionally, a theme section gathering home appliance reviews, usage methods, and tips is prepared.

To commemorate the opening of HeartON TV, a customer participation event will be held until the 13th. The ‘Express Your Love to HeartON TV’ event consists of three missions: searching for a specific keyword and leaving a comment, watching the self-produced content ‘Heart-throbbing Interview’ and liking it, and checking the Heart Live programming guide and setting notifications.

Lee Ok, team leader of the Lotte Hi-Mart Platform Project Team, said, “We are opening HeartON TV to deliver various information and usage tips about home appliances in an easy-to-understand way,” adding, “We will continue to plan diverse content that fits trends to provide high-quality information and strive to become a platform where general consumers can also participate and share.”
