EO Channel, Advancing as a Media for Startup and Innovation Content Production Based on Video Platforms
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] FuturePlay announced on the 7th that it has invested in the entrepreneur content production media EO Studio. In addition to FuturePlay, this investment was jointly made by DailyHotel founder CEO Shin Jaesik and influencer marketing startup Datable, and the investment amount was undisclosed.
EO Studio (hereinafter EO Channel) is a video platform-based startup and innovation content production company that started as a solo YouTube creator and gained many subscribers through the Real Valley series, which interviewed Koreans working at global companies such as Google and Pixar located in Silicon Valley, USA. Currently, EO Channel has approximately 207,000 subscribers on YouTube and about 47,000 subscribers on Facebook.
EO CEO Kim Taeyong said, “After numerous trials and errors, we have built a good team and system, and we feel reassured to be working with investors who are not bound by conventional thinking.”
FuturePlay CEO Ryu Junghui said, “Amid the media upheaval, we will think together and support EO Channel so that it can grow into a new platform that connects startups, investors, and customers beyond simple content production or YouTube channels.”
