[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon]Public Shopping announced on the 7th that it will present a special concert, "Music Propose," to express gratitude to customers on the occasion of its 5th anniversary.
The concert is a special music stage prepared along with "31 Days of Propose," which Public Shopping is holding throughout July to celebrate its 5th anniversary. During "31 Days of Propose," three special sales, a 10-minute guerrilla sale, and one surprise chance will be scheduled daily throughout the month to offer various products at super special prices.
Music Propose will be held online in a non-face-to-face concert format due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Participating musicians include Yoon Hyungjoo of Sesibong, the first generation of Korean folk singers, singer Woo Soonsil, who recently gained attention on Voice Queen, acoustic guitarist Kim Heejin, as well as jazz band Heowonmu Quartet and band Dongne, who will each present various classic hits from the 70s and 80s in their own unique styles.
The performance will take place for over an hour at 6 p.m. on the 8th at the outdoor stage of the Praum Musical Instrument Museum in Namyangju and will be live-streamed on the Public Shopping YouTube channel.
Afterwards, edited performance clips by singer and song will be widely exposed on the TV home shopping channel SB videos throughout the month.
A Public Shopping official said, "This is the first attempt to produce a music concert on home shopping and live stream it on YouTube."
