[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] A man in his 60s, newly confirmed with COVID-19 in Gwangju, has gone missing, prompting health authorities and the police to launch a search.
According to health authorities on the 7th, Mr. A, who resides in Yongsan-dong, Dong-gu, Gwangju, disappeared after being notified of his COVID-19 positive result around 11:30 PM the previous day.
Health authorities dispatched a 119 negative pressure ambulance to transfer him to the hospital, but Mr. A was not at home and had turned off his mobile phone.
Investigations revealed that Mr. A had contact with Gwangju case number 85 and was linked to Gwangju Sarang Church.
Health authorities and the police are currently tracking Mr. A's whereabouts.
