Wando Tourist Hotel is demolishing the hotel and its annex buildings.

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] The only tourist hotel in Wando, located right next to the beach where guests can directly experience the lingering sunset and the awe of the sunrise over the sea from their rooms, is disappearing into history.

Wando Tourist Hotel, completed in January 1996, had greatly contributed to revitalizing the local economy as a landmark of Wando until May of this year.

Wando Tourist Hotel plans to demolish the hotel and its annex buildings and construct a modern residential-commercial complex.
