Honda Korea Opens Pre-Orders for CR-V Turbo SUV Starting from the 6th

[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Honda Korea announced on the 6th that it will begin pre-orders for the sports utility vehicle (SUV) 'New CR-V Turbo.'

The 'New CR-V Turbo' inherits the development concept of the dynamic SUV from the 5th generation CR-V launched in 2017, while returning as an upgraded model with enhanced exterior and interior styling and convenience features through this partial facelift. It will be released in two trims: 2WD EX-L and 4WD Touring.

The New CR-V Turbo, equipped with the advanced driving assistance system 'Honda Sensing' on all trims, has improved safety. The combination of a 1.5ℓ VTEC turbo engine and CVT delivers a maximum output of 193 horsepower and a peak torque of 24.8 kg.m. Additionally, it emphasizes excellent space utilization compared to SUVs in the same class by securing an interior passenger space of 2914ℓ and a maximum cargo space of 2146ℓ when folding the second-row seats.

The front design has been upgraded with a black front grille and a strong, tough-style bumper, expressing the unique presence of the CR-V. The rear features a new black-type LED rear combination lamp and a dark chrome rear garnish, enhancing its premium feel. LED fog lights are installed, and the 4WD Touring trim is equipped with 19-inch wheels, the largest size in its class.

The New CR-V Turbo has improved product competitiveness compared to the previous model by enhancing convenience features. It is the only SUV in its class to newly equip heated second-row seats and a heated steering wheel on all trims. In addition to the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which were already applied to the previous model, a smartphone wireless charging system has been added. Especially, the 4WD Touring trim newly features a hands-free power tailgate to increase convenience.

Honda Korea is offering various benefits to customers who pre-order the New CR-V Turbo in July. They will receive a lifetime free engine oil change without restrictions on period or mileage, as well as a lifetime care package that includes replacement services for three consumables: wipers, air conditioner filters, and air filters. Furthermore, returning customers will receive a 1 million KRW discount, and if the existing vehicle is a CR-V, they will receive a 1 million KRW discount plus an additional gift worth approximately 1 million KRW.

The New CR-V Turbo is available in six colors: White, Silver, Metal, Black, Blue, and Red. The selling price, including VAT and reflecting changes in the individual consumption tax, is 38.5 million KRW for the 2WD EX-L and 45.4 million KRW for the 4WD Touring.
