[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] LF (CEO Kyusik Oh), a lifestyle culture company, announced on the 6th that its flagship brand Hazzys is launching a unique ‘Smile Banana’ summer capsule collection in its online-exclusive PIZ line to welcome the peak vacation season.
The playful character with a smiling expression was created by combining the letters 'P' and 'Z' from 'PIZ,' which means 'expression,' with a banana, and this was applied to the products to showcase a witty sensibility. Centered around the yellow color of the banana, which also evokes the hot sun, the collection features blue and black as contrasting colors to express the seasonal summer atmosphere while adding a pop art feel.
The Smile Banana collection is characterized by its street-inspired vibe and the application of clever yet practical details. It adds special charm with uncommon designs such as short-sleeve T-shirts with storage pockets on the back and caps with side pocket designs. Additionally, the collection includes a total of 15 vibrant items such as pajamas featuring the character in a colorful pattern, color-block shorts, leggings and bucket hats accented with logo webbing tape, and transparent tambourine bags.
The Smile Banana collection is available in various sizes to be enjoyed by both male and female consumers. Prices are set at 40,000 to 70,000 KRW for tops, 70,000 to 90,000 KRW for bottoms, and 30,000 to 40,000 KRW for hats and bags. The collection can be found on LF’s official online shopping mall LF Mall, as well as online select shops Musinsa and 29CM.
Meanwhile, to commemorate the launch of the Hazzys PIZ line Smile Banana collection, LF Mall is holding an event until the 19th that introduces the products and offers a 10% discount benefit.
