[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Five new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Daejeon. In particular, three additional cases were linked to a clinic in Jeongnim-dong, Seo-gu, where an infected person worked.
According to Daejeon City on the 4th, a female patient in her 60s (case 132), a female trainee in her 30s (case 133), and a staff member (case 134) at the clinic tested positive. The health authorities conducted comprehensive testing on 51 people, including clinic staff and recently admitted and discharged patients.
The other two additional confirmed cases are the husband (case 130) and a family member (case 131, female in her 30s) of a female resident in Mannyeon-dong, Seo-gu in her 60s (case 129), who was confirmed positive the day before.
