Imsil-gun Gwancheon-myeon Promotes Event to Attach Nameplates for National Merit Recipients

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] On the 3rd, Imshil-gun Gwanchon-myeon announced that on the 2nd, they visited the homes of national veterans residing in the area to hold the 'National Veterans Nameplate Attachment' event.


The 'National Veterans Nameplate Attachment Project' is a project promoted through collaboration between the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and local governments to enhance the status of national veterans who have dedicated and sacrificed for the country, and to express respect, honor, and gratitude towards them.


Gwanchon-myeon expressed their gratitude by personally attaching nameplates to 16 Vietnam War veterans and 4 recipients of the National Medal of Honor.


Baek Gyeonghan, head of Gwanchon-myeon, said, "I feel very honored to be able to personally attach nameplates to veterans who risked their lives and contributed on the battlefield for the country," and added, "We will continue to strive so that national veterans can live with pride."
