[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Yeon-ju] 'Bolbbalgan4' member Ahn Ji-young has recently been embroiled in rumors of discord again after unfollowing former member Woo Ji-yoon's Instagram account.

On the 3rd, posts appeared on online communities stating that Woo Ji-yoon's Instagram account had disappeared from Ahn Ji-young's personal Instagram following list.

Upon verification, it was confirmed that the two have unfollowed each other.

This is the third time rumors of discord between the two have surfaced. The first rumors arose in April when Woo Ji-yoon left the group.

Regarding this, Ahn Ji-young appeared on MBC's entertainment program 'Radio Star' on May 13 and explained, "Woo Ji-yoon did not leave to pursue her own music," adding, "We had been running hard for four years. She often said she wanted to rest."

She continued, "I was angry. Many rumors spread without knowing the facts. We were making a good choice, but it made someone look pitiful," and expressed her feelings, saying, "It was upsetting to hear so many baseless speculations that the departure was due to discord."

However, when Woo Ji-yoon released her new song 'Dodo' on the 19th of last month, suspicions arose that it was aimed at Ahn Ji-young, sparking the second round of discord rumors.

The song's lyrics include lines such as "Constantly wanting and greedy, reason side out," "You push me away and steal the set point as it is," "You rationalize yourself by saying tomorrow comes for you," and "You push me away and steal as it is."

As the rumors intensified, Woo Ji-yoon dismissed them, stating, "'Dodo' was worked on in 2019, and some parts were posted on Instagram. The remaining parts became the main track. There is nothing else beyond Instagram and the current situation."

With the rumors resurfacing, netizens reacted with comments like, "If they were close, they wouldn't have parted," "If they support each other, why unfollow?" "I don't know about Bolbbalgan, but it seems like adolescence is fitting," and "They said they would go their separate ways, but it seems their relationship isn't good."
