[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] KT will launch Samsung Electronics' LTE notebook 'Galaxy Book S' on the 3rd. Among telecom operators, KT is the exclusive distributor, selling it through the official online mall KT Shop and nationwide KT stores.

The Galaxy Book S is an LTE notebook that uses a USIM card, allowing internet access via LTE networks anywhere without Wi-Fi connection. The retail price is 1,397,000 KRW. The Galaxy Book S is an ultra-light notebook with a 13.3-inch touchscreen and the latest Intel processor, weighing 950g and measuring 11.8mm in thickness. It features a battery that lasts up to 17 hours and 8GB of memory. It supports the latest Wi-Fi standard, 'Wi-Fi 6'. The exterior is made of aluminum, and it is available in two colors: Mercury Gray and Earthy Gold.

Along with the launch of the Galaxy Book S, KT introduces Korea's first premium notebook replacement program called 'Notebook Super Change'. After using the Galaxy Book S for 24 months, if customers switch to a Samsung premium notebook and return their used Galaxy Book S, they can receive compensation of up to 50% of the original retail price. There is also an option to receive up to 30% compensation after 36 months of use. Using KT partner cards can further reduce the purchase burden.

If customers use KT 5G 'Super Plan' special tariff or LTE tariff 'DataON', they can use the smart device plan 'Data Together Large' free of charge for 11,000 KRW per month (including VAT). The Data Together Large plan provides 1GB of data monthly and allows sharing smartphone data (up to 100GB).

To commemorate the launch of the Galaxy Book S, KT offers various benefits. All purchasers will receive a 90-day free trial of Seezn, which offers unlimited access to over 200 live channels and 80,000 VOD titles, and a 99,000 KRW discount on Galaxy Buds+ (Blue). From the 3rd to the 10th, the first 200 customers purchasing through KT Shop will receive a Samsung genuine multi-port adapter and a premium pouch.
