Two More COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in Daejeon...Local Total Reaches 126

[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Two new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Daejeon.

On the 2nd, the Daejeon city government announced that as of 6 p.m., cases #125 and #126 were confirmed.

Case #125 (70s, Wolpyeong-dong, Seo-gu) showed symptoms such as coughing on the 19th of last month, and case #126 (40s, Gwanjeo-dong, Seo-gu) showed symptoms including loss of appetite on the 26th of last month. Both visited screening clinics, were tested, and confirmed positive.

Including these additional confirmed cases, the cumulative number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Daejeon area has increased to 126 (including 16 overseas entrants).

The city is currently conducting an epidemiological investigation into the infection routes of cases #125 and #126, and will disclose their movement paths on the city website once identified.
