"We Give the Entire 'Library' for Working Women"

Gyeongnam Jeongbo University Library Signs MOU with Sasang Women's Workforce Development Center

Gyeongnam Information College Library and Sasang Women's Human Resources Development Center signed an MOU on June 26 regarding knowledge and information exchange.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Yong-woo] An agreement has been made to provide all the knowledge and information filled in university libraries to women who want to work. This is a promise made between the Gyeongnam Information University Library and the Sasang Women's Workforce Development Center to exchange knowledge and information such as library materials.

On June 26, Gyeongnam Information University signed an MOU with the Sasang Women's Workforce Development Center in the large conference room on the 2nd floor of the Minseok Memorial Hall on campus, and the two institutions agreed to jointly promote academic exchange activation through the provision of library knowledge and information within the university.

They also promised to jointly promote degree acquisition processes through joint project promotion and support educational programs for community contribution.

Kim Jeong-hee, the head of the library, said, “Through this agreement, we aim to provide local women with the abundant knowledge information and the latest facility infrastructure of the university library, and contribute to developing the capabilities to lead the Fourth Industrial Revolution era by frequently holding humanities special lectures.”

The Sasang Women's Workforce Development Center provides comprehensive employment support services such as employment counseling, vocational training, internships, and post-employment follow-up for women whose careers have been interrupted due to pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare, helping to increase women's participation in economic activities.
