[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Samsung Electronics is promoting the KBO League to fans worldwide by producing a video featuring the Galaxy S20 Ultra.
On the 30th, Samsung Electronics and the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) announced that they had produced a video highlighting the efforts of the KBO League, players, and staff in successfully managing COVID-19 prevention measures.
The video, shot in 8K with the Galaxy S20 Ultra, shows the thorough disinfection process from before the game starts until it ends, capturing scenes such as players’ temperature checks, strict mask-wearing, and online cheering, portraying the new era of baseball stadiums. It aims to convey the players’ hopes as they await baseball fans while delivering exciting matches despite difficult circumstances.
The global version of the video features special narration by Eric Thames, a current Major Leaguer and one of the best foreign hitters in the KBO. The video will be posted on the KBO website, Naver, Kakao’s KBO channels, as well as Samsung Electronics’ newsroom, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and other official social channels, introducing the league to sports fans worldwide.
