Gyeongnam Governor Holds Meeting with 13 Innovation Leaders of the First Half of 2020

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Choi Hyun-joo] On the 30th, Governor Kim Kyung-soo of Gyeongnam Province held a meeting with 13 public officials who led innovation in Gyeongnam in the first half of this year, the province announced.

The innovation heroes are public officials who led innovation in Gyeongnam Province. The Provincial Innovation Promotion Team discovered and selected two innovation cases every month since January, selecting a total of 12 cases and 13 people.

The meeting was held with innovation heroes who led the province's innovation cases, including Lee Hyun-jin, the first innovation hero and administrative officer of Hapcheon-gun, Kang Gwan-seok, administrative officer of the Agricultural Food Distribution Division, social service worker Cha Yong-hwan, and Mr. Kim Jun-yeon from the Provincial Innovation Promotion Team.

Among various cases, especially the ‘Hapcheon Safety Service App’ by administrative officer Lee Hyun-jin of Hapcheon-gun contributed to preventing solitary deaths in single-person households across the province, even after being revamped as the ‘Gyeongnam Safety Service App’ starting this year.

Governor Kim Kyung-soo encouraged, “Not only the heroes of innovation cases like you but also all employees who quietly work in their positions will do their best to create a workplace where everyone wants to work.”
