[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Today (the 29th) marks one year since the passing of actress the late Jeon Mi-seon.


The late Jeon Mi-seon was found dead at a hotel in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do on June 29th last year. At the time, she was 49 years old. Jeon Mi-seon's agency, Boas Entertainment, stated, "She had been receiving treatment for depression."


Regarding Jeon Mi-seon's death, on the 23rd, actress Seo Yoo-jung posted on her social network service (SNS), "The movie where unnie appears, are you doing well?" along with a photo from the filming of "Naratmalssami."


Seo Yoo-jung said, "Just because I don't speak doesn't mean I don't know or have forgotten. I may not think about it every day, but I haven't forgotten," adding, "All the truly warm, kind-hearted, and precious people are always hurt and in pain. It's tough. The strong, cruel, cold, and selfish people live well."


She continued, "My heart hurts so much. Unnie, please don't be in pain there. Actress Jeon Mi-seon, who never treated juniors like seniors but always cared and treated people attentively," reminiscing about the late actress.


Also, on the 24th, actress Kim Na-woon posted on her SNS, "I miss my friend Miseon so much. It feels like she would answer if I called. Are you resting comfortably there? I thought we would grow old together and have plenty of time, but the rain falls lonely, Miseon," along with a smiling photo of the late actress.


Earlier, in March, actress Kim So-eun shed tears at the premiere of the movie "Are You in Love?" held at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Seoul, saying, "My senior went through difficult times and was emotionally unwell for a while, and I was sad even while watching the movie. My heart still hurts." The movie "Are You in Love?" is the late Jeon Mi-seon's final work.


Jeon Mi-seon debuted in 1989 with the drama "Toji." She went on to appear in dramas such as "King of Baking, Kim Tak-gu," "Royal Family," "Ojakgyo Brothers," "The Moon Embracing the Sun," "Maids," "Six Flying Dragons," "Love in the Moonlight," and "Witch's Court."
