Dongmyeong University Department of Early Childhood Education Takes Over the 'Thanks to You Challenge' Baton

Join in Expressing Gratitude and Respect to COVID-19 Medical Staff

A student and a professor from the Department of Early Childhood Education at Dongmyung University participated in the Thanks Challenge.

The Thanks Challenge is a nationwide participatory campaign started to encourage medical staff who are working hard to treat COVID-19.

Students and professors from the Department of Early Childhood Education at this university recently joined the campaign by taking photos of sign language expressing gratitude and respect for medical staff and posting them on the department's homepage and Facebook page.

The Department of Early Childhood Education at Dongmyeong University aims to cultivate "creative teachers with character and practical expertise in the field." Every year, they invite about 2,000 local infants and toddlers to participate in talent donation activities such as puppet shows, musical art performances, and play programs.

They also consistently carry out volunteer activities such as Good Teacher volunteer work for pediatric cancer patients and performance volunteer activities for local infants and toddlers, fostering early childhood teachers with professional ethics and qualifications.

In the Thanks Challenge relay campaign, the Department of Early Childhood Education at Dongmyeong University, nominated by the Department of Early Childhood Education at Dong-Eui University, passed the campaign baton to the Busan Gijang-gun Childcare Support Center, which is a commissioned operation institution of Dongmyeong University, the Department of Early Childhood Education at Kyungsung University, and the industry-academia cooperation educational institution Peace Kindergarten as the next participants.
